My GoMining investment journey started in December 2024. I’d just come off a long stretch of staying away from crypto entirely — you can read the full story of why I went back in this post — and GoMining was the platform that pulled me back in. Since then, I’ve been accumulating BTC payouts and using them, along with fresh capital, to grow my position steadily rather than all at once.
Where I started, and what “Greedy Machine” and “TH” actually mean
For anyone new here: a Greedy Machine is GoMining’s NFT-backed digital miner — you own it, and it earns real BTC based on its mining power, measured in TH (terahashes per second). The more TH your machine has, the more it earns. I started with a modest amount of power and have been growing it steadily since, both through direct upgrades and through GoMining’s weekly compounding hashpower mechanic.

The GMT locking part matters as much as the mining power itself. Locking GMT into veGOMINING earns weekly APR and voting power, and it’s also one of the two paths toward climbing GoMining’s VIP tiers — the other being TH volume itself. The plan from here
I intend to keep accumulating GMT until I hit 25,000 locked, which should push me up to Diamond I VIP status. That tier unlocks a meaningful jump in benefits — a bigger discount, a higher Simple Earn multiplier, and the reward reinvestment bonus that kicks in specifically at Diamond I.
