My GoMining Greedy Machine is becoming the core of my mining farm. With GoMining changing the way it prices hashpower, I’ve decided to restructure my farm and prepare for a future where TH prices may become much more dynamic.
GoMining has announced that the price of its 12 W/TH miners will increase from $16.99/TH to $18.99/TH on 8 September 2026, with prices at other energy-efficiency levels also changing.
More importantly, GoMining is moving toward dynamic pricing. Every Tuesday, hashpower prices will be reviewed and updated according to market conditions.
That introduces a new uncertainty: I no longer know what another TH will cost next week, next month, or next year.
So I’ve decided to prepare for it.

I Moved 82 TH Into My Greedy Machine
I recently sold 82 TH of my non-Greedy miners at below-market prices and used the proceeds to add approximately the same amount of hashpower to my Greedy Machine.
My total TH hasn’t materially changed.
What has changed is where my TH sits.
And I think that matters.
Why the GoMining Greedy Machine?
With a normal GoMining miner, if I want another TH, I generally have to buy it at the prevailing price.
The Greedy Machine gives me another potential route.
Through GoMining’s weekly reward mechanism, part of the GOMINING ecosystem rewards can be allocated toward increasing the hashpower of Greedy Machines.
That means my Greedy Machine has two potential ways to grow:
- I can buy additional TH myself. It can receive additional TH through the Greedy reward mechanism.
- It can receive additional TH through the Greedy reward mechanism.
With GoMining moving toward dynamic TH pricing, I increasingly value having both options.
If TH becomes cheaper, I can buy more.
If TH becomes more expensive, my Greedy Machine still has the potential to grow without me purchasing every incremental TH directly.
There are no guarantees. Greedy Machine allocations can change, governance can change, and future TH prices could move in either direction.
For me, this isn’t about predicting what happens next. It’s about optionality.
Preparing My GoMining Farm for an Uncertain Future
I was willing to sell my 82 TH below market price because I see the difference as a restructuring cost.
I’m not trying to optimize my farm for this week. I’m trying to position it for the next several years.
Bitcoin price will change. Mining difficulty will change. Energy efficiency will improve. And now, GoMining’s hashpower prices can change every Tuesday.
I can’t predict all of that.
So rather than building a strategy that depends on predicting the future, I’m trying to build a farm that can adapt to it.
My Greedy Machine is therefore becoming the core of my GoMining farm.
I can buy more TH when the economics make sense. I can upgrade its energy efficiency when appropriate. And it has the potential to accumulate additional hashpower through the Greedy mechanism.
The move didn’t make my farm bigger overnight.
But I believe it has made my farm better prepared for whatever comes next.
I don’t know what one TH will cost in the future. And that’s exactly why I’ve shifted more of my TH into my Greedy Machine.
